Priming and Painting Your Dresser

Types of Brushes

    2. You can use any type of brush to prime your dresser. We recommend using two coats of primer to ensure the paint will stick well.
  2. Brushes
    3. There are 2 types of paintbrushes you can use on your dresser. One is a synthetic brush that will give you a smooth finish. The other is a brush with natural bristles that gives you more texture.
  3. Painting
    4. After you have decided which type of brush you want to use you can start painting.
  4. Drying In Between Layers
    5. It is essential to let your first coat of paint dry fully before painting the second coat. This can take anywhere from a few hours to a full day depending on the type of paint.
